About the Role

As a Video Editor Intern, you’ll help shape the visual storytelling behind Studio Sketch’s and our clients’ content. You’ll be editing for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns—turning raw footage and concepts into dynamic, polished videos that drive engagement.

You’ll work closely with our Content Creators, Strategists, and Designers to:

• Edit short-form video for social platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.

• Assist with long-form content like YouTube videos, client testimonials, and brand stories.

• Bring creativity to cuts, transitions, text overlays, pacing, and storytelling.

• Optimize videos for each platform’s best practices (dimensions, captions, hook placement, trends, etc.).

• Collaborate on video concepts, storyboarding, and visual styles during content planning meetings.

• Organize video assets, manage project files, and maintain consistent quality standards.

Ideal Candidate

• Pursuing a degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proficient with video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong eye for storytelling, rhythm, pacing, and design.

• Familiar with social-first editing styles, hooks, memes, and trending audio.

• Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently and on deadlines.

• Up-to-date with latest internet trends

• Bonus: Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects, Canva animations, etc.) and color correction.

Location: Remote or Orlando, FL (Hybrid opportunities available)

Duration: Spring/Summer 2025 (Flexible start and end dates)

Hours: 4 - 8 hours/week

Compensation: $15-$20/hour
